Your picks sucked last week, what happened? Not sucking is impossible. I think people that bet on football must be morons. This is the most unpredictable sport known to man. Winning on Saturday is hard. You need a great plan and error free execution. That's why I make myself a TV guide on "home weekends" (not to be confused with weekends where my team is home and I'm out of town at the game). I haven't shared one of these with you guys yet this year. 99% of the reason is that I'm usually just completing it as Corso is putting on the headgear. Going into a Red River Shootout weekend, I'm much more prepared. Below is how I'll be winning this Saturday. It's just a game plan, so other than 11am-3pm, there may be audibles. If you don't live in Houston and have Comcast cable, then you'll have to ignore the channel numbers and deal with any regional broadcast differences. You may also notice there is a selfish method to my selection of games on home weekends. I can handle four feeds to four televisions in the living room -- plus a computer. Unless sickness befalls me in the 1PM hour, I *will* watch all 15 games

Don't tase me, bro. SCORECARD Our league put up big numbers again this week. The NFL schedule has shrunk to the mid-season number of 14 games per week with a full slate of bye weeks kicking in. Despite this, we still picked an average of 10 correct. Gig'em (AP) and Chicainery (CCa) both picked 12/14 correctly. Our worst effort was blindly picking Green Bay and getting surprised by Luck. Congrats to Beelzebubbles (CCo) for predicting that emotional Colt win... or maybe just being lucky. In my opinion, the NBC and ESPN games are still killing it. Cheers to prime time NFL. SH!T HAPPENED I tailgated all day last Saturday. But the weekend won't ever make any SEC fan's NCAA tailgates > NFL tailgate list. I literally cleaned up the sh!t of my 4y/o almost literally all day. I spent as much time in the port-a-potty as I did eating sausage. Man, I would have rather ate more sausage. Like, I missed the almost literally the entire 4th quarter of my own team’s game. Dude’s butt was almost literally on fire. Seriously, how could such a little package be holding so much sh!t? And what the hell was inside, literally making it come out so explosively and at hourly intervals? Unfortunately, I don’t know a lot about Saturday that doesn’t involve ~10 craft beers, some grilling, port-a-potty sh!tting, loads and loads of TP, and some using of a sink to clean shoes, socks, and shorts.
